Houses
Four houses, one school
Every student belongs to one of four houses — Diamond, Emerald, Gold and Ruby. The houses compete across academics, sport, cultural activities and service through the year, working towards the Overall House Championship.
The house system is where most students first take responsibility for something beyond themselves: organising, captaining, representing, and losing gracefully.
Sport
Sport, indoors and out
Games run through the week alongside lessons, and the inter-house sports meet is one of the fixed points of the school year.
On the field
Football, cricket, volleyball, basketball and pickleball.
Pool and track
Swimming and skating.
Precision sports
Archery and rifle shooting.
Clubs & Leadership
Clubs and student leadership
Student clubs run under the Greenhills Enrichment & Mentorship Society (GEMS). Each club has a Teacher In-Charge, is supported by Section Mentors, and is led by Student Governors — students who plan the club's activities rather than simply attend them.
In 2025–26, GEMS included clubs covering environment, leadership, health and wellbeing, arts, music, public speaking, service and STEM.
Arts & Assembly
Performance, assembly and celebration
The campus has an open-air amphitheatre used for performances and assemblies. Attendance at assemblies and school functions is expected of all students.
The inter-house arts festival sits alongside the sports meet as one of the two fixed inter-house competitions of the year.
Enrichment
Enrichment activities
Alongside the clubs, the school runs enrichment activities mentored by visiting specialists: chess, karate, skating, pottery, rifle shooting, craft, keyboard, abacus, guitar and yoga.

Boarding
For students who live here
Boarders from Class V upwards live on campus, so school life continues past the last lesson — supervised evening study, shared meals, and the routines of a house.
Boarders take part in the same houses, clubs, sport and enrichment as day scholars.
