Founded in 2001 by Late V. N. Gopalan in loving memory of his wife, Meenakshi Gopalan, the Meenakshi Charitable Trust is the philanthropic arm of the Valummel Group. Under the stewardship of current Chairman Mr. V G Surendranath, the Trust upholds its founding principle that education and welfare are cornerstones of sustainable community development.
